Which payment methods can I accept?
Credit and debit cards from anywhere in the world, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Payments are processed with Stripe or, if your studio is in Mexico, with Fitune Pay.
What is Fitune Pay?
It's the payment option for studios in Mexico, with lower fees than Stripe's standard rates and the ability to set your payout schedule from Fitune. Outside Mexico, payments run on Stripe.
Do I pay a monthly fee for online payments?
No. Neither Fitune nor Stripe charges setup or maintenance fees for payment processing: you only pay the standard fee per successful transaction.
Do my clients need a Stripe account to pay?
No. They pay with their card or wallet directly on your website or app.
When does the money reach my bank account?
Stripe pays out on a rolling schedule that depends on your country. The first payout can take a little longer because of the initial account verification.
What happens if a client's payment fails?
If their bank requires 3D Secure verification, Fitune shows the authentication step automatically. If the payment doesn't go through, your client gets a secure payment page to try again or use another method.
Can I also take payments at the front desk?
Yes. From the point of sale you sell memberships and items like drinks or apparel, apply discounts and record who made each sale and at which location.
Can I use Fitune's checkout if I already have my own website?
Of course. You can embed our booking widget directly in your existing website so your clients complete the whole process without being redirected to another page.
